Chatforce vs Rosebud AI: a side-by-side on the 7 checks that matter

Chatforce helps you make visually high-quality 2D and 3D games from text and/or reference images, with multiplayer and microtransaction support taken care of for you. Rosebud AI is a browser game maker that builds games from a text description. This page compares the two on the seven checks people use to pick an AI game maker: prompt to playable, 2D and 3D, multiplayer, free entry, code and export, commercial rights, and distribution. Rosebud facts were checked on October 27, 2026 against rosebud.ai/pricing, rosebud.ai/ai-game-creator and rosebud.ai/3d-game-maker.

Visual quality and mechanics quality

The biggest difference shows up when you play the result. Chatforce is built to make games that look good and play well. That quality comes from two things working together: state-of-the-art AI models, with Chatforce switching to whichever model is best for each job, and Chatforce’s proprietary agent technology, which plans the game, generates the art and audio, and writes the code as one connected process.

On visuals, Chatforce drafts a full-scene concept image first and locks the art direction, then generates every sprite or 3D model against that reference. Characters stay on-model across poses and animations, sprites get clean transparent backgrounds. You can steer the look with reference images, a chosen art style or a stylized font.

On mechanics, the Coder writes TypeScript game-loop code on a Three.js runtime used for both 2D and 3D. You can change physics, enemy behavior or difficulty in chat, tune live game values in the Variables tab, and lay out levels in the Level Editor. Multiplayer games can run on server-validated rooms so scores and moves stay authoritative.

Rosebud also builds the code, art and sound together. Its default AI is called Rosie, and its pricing page lists premium models at about 20,000 credits per edit against about 2,000 for Rosie. The fair test is the same for both: give each tool the same prompt and compare the first playable side by side. Finished Chatforce examples are in the game gallery.

Pricing side by side

Chatforce has a free version and a pro version. The free version comes through the Creator Program with 2,000 welcome chips plus 1,200 chips a day. Rosebud’s free plan gives 8,000 credits a week in eligible regions. Indie Dev is $15/month, 10x Dev is $30/month, Pro is $50/month and Scale is $100/month. Commercial rights start at 10x Dev, and code download and Windows export start at Pro. Plan terms can change, so check rosebud.ai/pricing before you buy.

Example prompt to test both: Build a 3D co-op game for two to four players exploring a floating island. Players collect glowing seeds and plant them to raise bridges to the next island. Use a soft painted art style, clear touch controls and short rounds.
